Conor Fitzgerald
Conor used to produce a newsletter on Italian affairs for foreign embassies, but when the internet killed that off, he turned to translations, specialising in financial translations. He also teaches translation-interpretation in a school in Ostia. Described by William Boyd as "a powerful and hugely compelling novel... written with tremendous style and assurance" The Dogs of Rome is the first of what will be a series of novels featuring Commissioner Alec Blume as the enduring hero.
